Micronized benzoyl peroxide penetrates deep into the pores to treat moderate acne, exfoliate dead skin cells, and destroy acne-causing bacteria.

Recommended for:
Moderate Acne Types accustomed to Clearing Gel 2.8

Why it works:
Made with micronized benzoyl peroxide, this non-irritating treatment effectively penetrates pores, destroying P. acnes bacteria, clearing acne, and preventing future breakouts. Anti-acne powerhouse benzoyl peroxide in a 5% concentration is the next step  for fighting moderate breakouts. Non-comedogenic.

Directions:
Apply 1 pump of Hydrating Gel to the entire acne-prone area, working it into the skin for 2 – 3 minutes until it is completely dry, then follow with 1 pump of Clearing Gel on top of the Hydrating Gel. Finish with Overnight Treatment on whiteheads and pustules (not on underground cysts or anything without a “head” on it). Use Hydrating Gel with Clearing Gel and Overnight Treatment every other night in the beginning, using Daily Moisturizer on nights “off” while the skin adjusts. May use Hydrating Gel with Clearing Gel and Overnight Treatment every night in the absence of skin irritation, typically after 2 – 4 weeks.

Start with Clearing Gel 2.8. Once you can comfortably wear 2.8 overnight for 4 weeks, you may strengthen your home care to Clearing Gel 5.0 by alternating between the two strengths for 2 – 4 weeks, or until you can tolerate the higher strength every night. If you are still breaking out once accustomed to 5.0, you may move up to Clearing Gel 10.0 by alternating for 2 – 4 weeks, or until you can tolerate it every night. Always wear Hydrating Gel underneath benzoyl peroxide to prevent dryness and dehydration.

Caution:
A slight tingling sensation is normal, but remove immediately if burning or stinging develops. Will bleach fabrics. Keep away from eyes and front of neck. Do not wear eye or neck cream (eye gel is safe) when using this product. Let dry before going to sleep.
